What About Bob?...So, maybe you're wondering, "Who is this Bob guy anyway, and why is building successful online home businesses important to him?", and "Why does this guy CARE if anyone else succeeds?" :-)Well, maybe if I share a little bit about myself you'll have a better understanding... The basics first. My name is Bob Lormor, and I'm a middle-aged guy from Ohio who is married with two great kids. I'm also an Ohio State University Buckeye who graduated with a Mass Communications Degree in 1985 (...GO BUCKS)! For the past 20+ years, I've made my living in video production work. ...And if I do say so myself, I've had a pretty interesting career. During all of the 1990's I worked in Columbus, Ohio and Cleveland, Ohio in television production and television news, both as a news video journalist and a video editor. It's an extremely interesting line of work, but with the schedules I worked, there was no real social or family life. Plus, how many times can you interview murder victims' families and not let it get you down? Well, I didn't know about The Law of Attraction at the time - But I did know that anytime I wanted to go in a certain direction in my career, all I had to do was put my mind to it, and eventually it happened (it definitely takes a while sometimes, though!). ...I decided I wanted to continue in the video production business, but in a more meaningful way. I wanted to tell meaningful stories and stories of inspiration. I pictured myself doing this kind of work - but had no idea how it might come about. In 2000, I found my answer (it was in a HELP WANTED AD!) I interviewed for and accepted the position of National Video Production Manager for a mainline church denomination, headquartered in Cleveland. I now enjoy meaningful video assignments from the church which sometimes even send me all around the world. This has been awesome, because I've always been a very spiritual person by nature. Since 2000, I've been to more than 20 countries, shooting important spiritual video documentaries about the church's global efforts... telling the stories of such things as the fascinating lives of missionaries as well as activism, justice and 3rd world issues that the church tries to address. Many of these productions have received awards, and four (I think) have been shown on national TV - though most are produced just to show to the denomination's local congregations or to put on our denomination's national website. Click Here. ...A Profitable Home Business Becomes Necessary... It's been such a COOL job and career with the church. But unfortunately, many church denominations are experiencing hard financial times. For this reason, my job security is not good. I work on six month contracts. So by necessity, I've developed the entrepreneurial spirit of building profitable online home businesses in order to build financial security. Like I said, I have a very spiritual nature. I love helping other people when I can. I get a charge when people in my network and my website visitors achieve success. And for me personally, (I saw "The Secret"!), I'm visioning for myself, through the Law of Attraction, that I'll be able to continue my important spiritual video production work either part time, or (with God's abundant blessings) eventually even doing the video production work for free.... as a way of giving back... with GRATITUDE :-) Building a series of successful online home businesses through the comforts of my home computer, and helping others do the same, is a very appealing way of doing that! Beware though, if you don't research a business before getting into it, and if you don't market your businesses properly, you will lose more money than you gain (97% suffer through this).
