So, just what the heck is a niche anyway, let alone niche affiliate marketing? Well, I'm glad you asked! To begin, a niche market is when you are marketing to a very targeted group of people within a larger market - for instance, marketing a fishing product to "bass fishermen" is much nichier than going after a much larger market like "fishing". There's going to be MUCH less competition to market a product online with the keyword "bass fishing" than there will be for the very general keyword "fishing". So it stands to reason that finding a fishing product that bass fishermen are hungry for, or better yet, EXCLUSIVE to bass fishermen, is going to be a marketing campaign that is more highly focused, less costly to market online (in a keyword-driven vehicle like Google adwords), with much less competition and therefore is more likely to be profitable. HERE.) What Makes a Good Niche Keyword?And the definition of a good niche keyword is when there is a lot of search engine demand for a keyword, but not a lot of supply for that keyword. In other words, people are searching for what you've got, and you're loving life because there aren't that many other places for them to search! And friend, when you can find a good niche affiliate marketing program, where a merchant is looking for affiliates to market a quality product, and you can find a good niche market keyword for that product (where there's not much competition for that keyword), with high demand but little supply currently on that market, that equals PROFIT!
