Autoresponder Services: A Network Marketer's Hammer & Nails

=========================================
For an online network marketer, using autoresponders and autoresponder services is akin to a carpenter using a hammer, nails and a screwdriver, or a mechanic using a wrench. They just go hand-in-hand with each other.What is an autoresponder program? Well, autoresponder basics is that it is an automated email marketing followup system, and can be used in several different ways. One aspect of using such a system is that internet marketing is dominated by email advertising. Email-based advertising has been found to be one of the most cost effective forms of online marketing. When someone responds to an email ad by "opting in" to receive more information, they fill out an online form, submit it, and then the advertiser's autoresponder service automatically takes over the critical FOLLOWUP marketing.
Of all the autoresponder services, I find AWEBER to be the most recommended - by far.

Just about every successful salesperson of any kind will tell you that followup is key to sales success. Online marketing is no different. But it would take forever to personally send separate, unique emails to each and every prospect that an email campaign might drum up.
* SO AUTOMATION IS THE KEY to every autoresponder service.
A marketer will load a sequential autoresponder program with however many pre-written emails that the marketer feels is needed to be sent to an optin email prospect requesting more information. It's common knowledge that the average consumer needs to see an ad seven times before he or she feels compelled to buy something. So many online salespeople will load at least that many sales messages into their autoresponder program. A tip, however, is to not be a nuisance with your automated followup emails. You probably don't like seeing daily email ads from the same person day after day loading up your email inbox. Your prospects feel the same way. Don't make them get sick of you. One of the beautiful things about using autoresponders and autoresponder services is that you can program your pre-written emails to be sent out at just about any interval you want. So I suggest starting out every other day or so at first, and then gradually scale back on your frequency, so that you're not being a nuisance, you're just sending friendly reminders about your product or service. This is what is called "drip email" followup, because with this kind of total automation, your autoresponder service can still be sending out occasional reminders to prospects LONG after you've forgotten about them... but your followup email system HASN'T! ...as long as they haven't opted OUT in the interim. I've actually seen people make sales a YEAR after the prospect first opted in! Are you beginning to see the awesome value of integrating this kind of automation into your marketing system? Now, there are some free autoresponder programs out there, but I recommend biting the bullet for a paid service. Free responders just don't look very professional because you are forced to have the responder's advertising included in your email messages. Plus you often don't get many features. Believe me, I've tried free, but they just aren't very good. However, if you'd like to check out a

There are also other uses for using autoresponders and autoresponder services: - Welcome Letters - Order Confirmation - Special Messages - Offers - E-courses and Instruction
They are just wonderful tools for getting your information out without working your poor fingers (and keyboard) to the bone! Of course, there are all kinds of services to choose from, and there are downloadable as well as web-based options. I personally like web-based because they are simple to use, but of course you'll usually have to pay a monthly fee for the convenience. The choice is yours. There are lots of resources on autoresponder services that you can research.
If you want my own personally recommended autoresponder service that I know to be excellent and that I've also seen the majority of professional online marketers use, it's
Aweber.
