When you sign up with an affiliate marketing forum, you join a community of like-minded people. Some, like you, are there to GET help or answers to questions, or maybe find out what basic affiliate marketing strategies are most successful.

Other affiliate marketing forum members are more experienced and enjoy being there to GIVE help. As a beginner, the latter group of people is who you want to seek out, unless of course, you have some experiences where others could learn from YOU (for example, you found an affiliate marketing help site that you really liked :-)

That's the nice part about being a member of most online forums, including most any affiliate marketing forum. So, how do you FIND companies with affiliate marketing programs?

Easy - Just use an affiliate marketing directory!

Once you've decided that this is an industry you want to pursue, one of the obvious steps you need to take is deciding what affiliate products or services you want to sell and for which companies.

Now, in another area of this website, part of the basic affiliate marketing help that I'll provide is that we'll discuss HOW to choose a profitable niche affiliate marketing program.

In other words, affiliate businesses that are popular enough for you to make money at, but hopefully not so broad that you'll get buried by stiff competition (HINT: there are ways to get around huge competition - but more on that later).

These are basically "middle man" networks that bring together affiliates and merchants. Now, some merchants skip using a network altogether, preferring to deal with affiliates on their own instead.

But many bigger (and also more and more smaller) companies like the convenience of having an affiliate marketing network take care of most of their affiliate program details for them - like commission payouts, recruiting affiliates, etc. So an affiliate marketing network is the best place to start when looking for a directory of merchants.

Make Money With Google Adwords

Learning how to make money with Google Adwords, another form of affiliate marketing, is imperative in order to become a full-fledged super-affiliate marketer. So part of my my affiliate marketing help to you is to teach you about this critical facet of the industry.

Very simply, Google Adwords, is a form of internet pay per click (PPC) advertising on the Google Search Network. You'll find examples of adwords ads on just about any Google Search results page. They are the "sponsored" ads that you see on the right column of a search page (this is true of other search engines too, like Yahoo Search - but Google is by far the King of Search and of PPC Advertising).

WHEN MASTERED, it is extremely easy to make money with Google Adwords and get fast traffic (starting within 10 minutes of placing the ad!). BUT, Google Adwords can also COST you LOTS of money and frustration if you don't know how to use the system to Google's liking.
