Enacting green business practices is essential, too. The end result HAS to be for ALL companies to become green companies ASAP. I don't care if you are the owner BP Oil or just a guy or gal sitting in front of your home computer trying to make a buck ...There are LOTS of green business practices that we can all do to help our earth's environment recover.

At the risk of sounding like David Letterman (American Talk Show Host, for those of you outside the U.S.), here is the

4) Buy hybrid company cars
5) Buy organic green plants to place throughout the office (plants make the office air cleaner)
6) Offer environmentally-friendly products
7) Educate employees and customers on how to lessen their negative impact on the environment
8) Purchase clean, alternative energy, if available
9) Purchase Renewable Energy Credits (REC's), also know as carbon offsetting. This is a somewhat controversial going green plan. It is where you offset your emissions by making donations to organizations who reverse the damage you do to the environment.
10) Set Up Your Business' Website with a Green Web Host (more and more green web hosts are available ...See Below)
...I thought that number 10 of the tips for going green list was interesting because up until right before I started researching for this topic, I had never HEARD of green web hosting before! But like all businesses that look for how to go green, green web hosting is catching on. (My next websites will ALL be green, by the way!)
