With today’s technology, a photographer does not even need a dark room for picture development. You simply need a home computer and a photo editing program. There are some great photo editing programs to choose from. Be sure to pick the one that is easiest and quickest for you to use. If you attend online photography school or receive any type of photography training, you will receive instruction on editing programs. The top photography schools and top online photography programs may also teach you special photo shooting techniques (like underwater shooting). Once you start your business, the best idea is to RENT special equipment like that instead of wasting the money to buy it. Most of your work should be able to be done with a good digital camera. So, do not worry about cluttering up your home with expensive equipment that you will rarely need. With a photography business, you will have a work schedule that you will make for yourself. This is probably the best thing about working from home with any business. You can work part time and make full time money if you set things up efficiently. If you are planning to start a photography business, the most important requirement you will need to meet is the drive to be a serious photographer.
